Talline Development
Update from the Developer
​
Towards the end of October 2024, we will start clearing some trees adjacent to Shevlin Park road to allow for the mass grading of the Commercial and Phases 3-5 areas. The attached PDF shows the areas, In that pdf, the green star indicates where the first commercial building is located which construction of will start this coming January/February.
This attachment shows the conceptual layout of the whole commercial area for your reference. In order to achieve this design, the hillside that is adjacent to Shevlin Park Road will be lowered and reshaped to create a level building area for the commercial buildings.
This attachment shows the exterior elevations of the commercial building that will be started this winter. Additionally, This additional attachment shows a rendering of the exterior of the building and where the coffee shop patio will be located. The coffee shop will occupy about a third of the ground floor of the building.
Please note that while the design of the building has progressed past the preliminary phase, some of the items shared are from earlier conceptual designs. As such, some aspects of the layout and color schemes represented in these drawings will not be identical to the finished product.

Proposed Skyliner Club- Athletic Facility

The City of Bend received a Land Use application following the Pre-Application Community Meeting held in May of this year. The Site Plan Review application for a new 46,698 square feet athletic sports club (recreation) facility
Comments may be submitted in writing to the city regarding this application. The last day to mail or email comments is October 17, 2024.
Comments should be directed to the staff reviewer identified below and must include the project number.

Discovery West Phase 10 - 18
​
The City of Bend received a Land Division application following the Pre-Application Community Meeting for Discovery West Phases 10 - 18. Comments can be submitted in writing to the city regarding this application. The last day to mail or email comments is October 4, 2024. Comments should be directed to the staff reviewer identified below and must include the project number, PLLD20240465.

Neighborhood Commercial Development on Lands near Bend Central District
​
On June 20, 2024 the Bend City Council adopted Ordinance NS-2500 to allow Neighborhood Commercial development on lands near the Bend Central District. The adoption of this ordinance is the final local decision for the project referenced below. The ordinance becomes effective on July 20, 2024.

Proposed Skyliner Club- Athletic Facility
​
Notification is being provided in advance of a Site Plan Application to the City of Bend for a roughly 42,000 square foot two-story athletic facility and associated site improvements in the CL Zone and Discovery West Overlay Zone (Commercial/Mixed Employment District). In addition to the building, the plan includes parking areas, outdoor use areas, space for 3 food trucks, and access via an alley to the north.
This meeting is an informational and it is being held prior to the submittal of an application.

Discovery West Multifamily Project
​
The developer of the property will be submitting to the City of Bend an application for approval of a Site Plan for a multifamily housing project.
This notice is being provided in compliance with Section 4.1.215 of the City of Bend Development Code Project Description: The project will consist of constructing six multi-story buildings with approximately 180 dwelling units with associated parking lots and amenities.

Update on the Manzanita Ridge Park project.
From the Landscape Architect at Bend Park & Recreation District Office:
The feedback from the last round of outreach in October the preferred concept plan was developed the preferred concept plan, which was approved by the BPRD board of directors on January 2nd. This means we will be moving forward with design development and construction documents for the project based on the preferred plan. Although I may reach out with occasional project updates, you can expect things to be relatively quiet until we are ready to start construction. If at any point you have questions or would like an update please do not hesitate to reach out. The project website will be kept up to date and you can always check there for information as well.
